looks like fun in progress, congratulations. Good photos, too!
The fursuits were fascinating, and I enjoyed meeting up with a lot of the people involved but my primary interest is in anthromorphic cartooning and comics. Although this group has some brilliant artists, there are no ongoing comics at this time.
When I manage to resume mine they'll have 1.
For me it's a substitute for Ponycon, not a replacement.
it looks like it was a good time and lots of folks too :) great pictures :D
Yes, the LJ_cut worked perfectly, and great photos. Glad you had a good time in spite of the discomfort. Looks like the Old Wolf's cousin was there... ;^)
We had three wolves; Nikita Wolfpaw, Lupe and a third I haven't met before and don't know his name (the one in the first photo).
Nikita (I've been told this is a Russian name that originally was male but is now gender neutral), is the wolf with the bright eyes and big smile.
Lupe is the one wearing glasses. I'm guessing that would be the likeness of Old Wolf's cousin? :)
Looks great and like you've had a lot of fun. :)
Yes and no. I had some enjoyable conversations with some of the members, and I adored the fursuits but the following day was just a wander around the city. I turned down an opportunity to spend the afternoon with one of my church friends because it was the Furjam weekend, and in retrospect I think I'd have had more fun with her. On the plus she and I did see Journey to the Centre of the Earth 3D on Sunday morning with her. She nearly jumped out of her skin when the carniverous fish tried to attack Brendan Fraser.
