I think that's you on both counts!
I forgot you Secoh. :o Newcastle is far closer to Sydney than Dubbo, therefore that **invalidates** my turn. :( I lose two points, and Batty is reinstated as a candidate for anyone else who plays a turn.
Well, I can barely draw a conclusion let alone a web comic so I really only fit one aspect of the game! :-D
Either one is enough. If I were taking this seriously I'd have worked out a real point-scoring system rather than making it up on the fly :D
Strictly speaking I can't be regarded as a web comic author either if I can't keep the updates on time. I've been styding the instructions CarlFoxMarten gave me on GIMP and I'm hopeful of getting the hang of it before too much longer (I'd have finished so if I'd not had my neck hurt back in June, or whenever it was). Then after that I have a very large object to finish designing in 3D.
I think it's either Earl McClaw or Mark Stanley and his missus; they both live in Michigan state.
LOL! That must make you happy.
BTW - what the heck time of night did you post?!?
Very late at night; I was drowning sorrows with a friend.
Ow. I'm sorry to hear that. :(
Steven Roy. Don't think he considers himself a furry, but he's definitely a forumite.
That would be Secoh (Newcastle), then you, then JamesB before he moved to Canadia.
The nearest anthropomorphic web comic author/artist would be Chaypeta in Melbourne, writer and artist of Terinu http://www.terinu.com/
+3 points, and thanks for the link to Terinu! :D
I was forgetting about Doc Rat. Jenner is in Sydney, I think.
Ow. Why do I keep forgetting Doc Rat? :(
Another point to Batty
Hmms, Susan Deer (http://www.doemain.com/
) is likely the closest web comics author, but there's so many in the Bay Area here, that I may be wrong :)
I know Sue. Soon to be EX- web comic author as she's wrapping it up shortly.
Where's the "bay area"?
San Francisco, which is built around San Francisco Bay :P
More specifically, any of the communities around the Bay, such as Oakland, Millbrae, and even things farther inland such as Concord - if it's close, I call it the Bay Area.
If I said "around the harbour" and didn't know which city I lived in would you automatically know it was Sydney? :P
now now don't be mean :-P
I think it's a contextual thing. If the people you are talking with are from the same geographic area it's easy to slip into vague descriptions. If I mentioned to you and Batty that I was going "to the snow" for the weekend you'd be safe to assume Jindabyne, though I'm sure our overseas friends would have no idea of where I meant.
It's Ok, it was just playful banter. ;)
I know I know I'm just being difficult :-P
The "u" gives it up :D
And yeah, knowing where we live, more or less, makes it easier :)
Each new year's celebration Sydney City Council have to come up with a new theme for the bridge. One year they had a giant disco ball hanging off the side, another year the word "Eternity" was illuminated on its upper supports.
Maybe I'll suggest to them that they cover the vertical supports with roses and call it "Sydney Arbor Bridge"
i honestly cant think of any one close to me :(
Yes I was wondering about you Alaskawolf.
Wouldn't your nearest include DHLawrence, CarlFoxMarten, JamesB, Ocean's Edge and MaxBlackrabbit?
