Only just...
I was typing up an E-mail to one of my friends about the current state of my health, and then I realised that I should post these details here as well.
The week of annual leave I took at the end of June was nothing short of a dismal waste thanks to the state I was in after the chiropractic session went wrong. Even now I still have an ache in my shoulder and neck.
Good news first though: Monday before last I had a scheduled consultation with my orthapaedic surgeon last monday, and although one of the tendons in my shoulder HAS been aggravated by the chiropractic therapy the inflamation is not in the same tendon as that which suffered the calcifiation. It hurt like hell but at least I know that this ache will go away. My left arm however is still very weak and I can't perform heavy lifting. That means if I travel anywhere I can't haul around too much luggage.
I wont know what's wrong with my neck until next Tuesday - that's when the next chiropractic session is booked. Then I will be asking why it feels as if one of my vertibrae is trying to poke out of the back of my neck at lower left. |
