Now that's what I call a miracle baby (wallaroo joey) [Sep. 19th, 2008|10:12 am]
Stephan
A wallaroo joey, not old enough to be out of the pouch, has survived a 1,000km train journey wedged in the undercarriage of a locomotive after his mother (lamentably) was hit by the train hauling manganese ore.

Well she's lucky on two counts.

1) She survived that ordeal
2) She's going to be realised on land where there is no hunting. If a hunter had found her mother he'd have killed the joey without any remorse or mercy.
